Lane Olson

Lead Pastor
Lane and Tanga both married their best friend in 1975. They have happily served the Lord since then in what would be considered mega-churches. In recent months, they have discovered that all of that experience has been preparation for the biggest and most exciting challenge of their lives, planting New Song Community Church in Lincoln. Lane and Tanga have 3 married children and 4 grandsons, ages 10 months to 6 years old. Lane is an avid outdoorsman who loves to water ski and roam the high mountains in his old 4x4.

James Hartley

Student Ministries & Music Pastor
“It's been the most amazing ride serving God and His church — seeing this generation impacted by Christ!” says James who has brought his passion for worship and service to full time ministry since 1999. Nancy has an award winning gift in dramatic arts. Hundreds of teens have come to experience the illustrated sermons put on by her teams. They love to teach the Word and challenge young people to grow and live to their utmost potential in Christ.“To experience and know the power of God is our desire for every teen in Lincoln.” James and his wife Nancy married in 2003, having met in their church youth group. Both have bachelors degrees in Music Ministry and Ministerial Arts from Trinity Life Bible College. James is currently the Fine Arts Coordinator for the district's Student Ministries Dept.

Evelyn Ku

Children's Pastor
Evelyn has grown up in the Sacramento area and comes newly credentialed and licensed for ministry from Bethany University. Leadership and prayer have always been incorporated in her life at the church with involvement in ministry to youth, children, and summers full at camp. Friends and family would describe her as a great listener, creative, and patient. Her reputation for being a great story teller is evident in skits and songs that have been created to teach children the word of God. Evelyn believes children are no exception to being used by God for this generation. Samuel was called by God from an early age and along with many other bible heroes...echo Jesus' words to let the children come to Him. Her passion is to equip children for a lifetime of walking with God by creating foundational habits in prayer, reading the Word, and involvement in the church community.
