Pastor Lane and Tanga Olson are New Song's lead pastors. Lane has a Bachelor of Music and Psychology, a teaching credential from the University of British Columbia, as well as a Masters in Music from Sacramento State University. He also studied at Western Pentecostal Bible College. They love spending time boating, and off-roading in his old 4x4, camping in their RV, or drinking a good cup of coffee. They have 3 married children, 10 Grandchildren. And a keen sense that God has indeed blessed them!
LANE AND TANGA OLSON
Hello, my name is Evelyn Anane-Asane, and I was born and raised in the Coastal Country of the Republic of Ghana, a country located along the Gulf of Guinea and the Atlantic Ocean, in the sub-region of West Africa. Spanning a land mass of 238,535 km2 (92,099 sq. mi), Ghana is bordered by the Ivory Coast in the west, Burkina Faso in the north, Togo in the east and the Gulf of Guinea and the Atlantic Ocean in the south. I have been married to Pastor Andrew Anane-Asane for nearly thirty years young with three Adult Kids. We first moved to the USA about 12 years ago and have lived in 3 States including California. In ministry, I have worked with Adult, Women, Young Adults and Children in diverse ways. I Graduated from Bible School in 1997 & a Bachelors degree in Human Services (Women and Children) from the University of Phoenix. I currently working to obtain my Master's degree in Christian Leadership. I am happy to join the Staff at New Song and Looking forward to having a great time with you especially the children.
